The annual highlight of the Dutch IX ecosystem.
Empowering immersive creativity
Are you a maker, researcher or policymaker, or do you work at an organisation where immersive experiences can make the difference? Then you'll want to be in Utrecht on 16 April.
On 16 April we bring the Dutch IX field together. Not a standard conference, but a day for testing ideas, bringing perspectives together and sparking new collaborations.
After the well-attended Annual Meet-Up in 2025, we're building on what started there. This is the moment to join in and help shape the next step for immersive creativity in the Netherlands.
Who is it for?
Are you active as a maker in the IX field and looking to take your practice further? Do you work as a researcher seeking the link with real-world application? Or do you work at an organisation or public institution where immersive technology is being used or developed?
Then CIIIC 2026 is the moment to meet others working with similar questions and ambitions.

The 5 thematic tracks
In the afternoon you'll work in one of the five parallel tracks. Each track starts from concrete cases ("show, don't tell") and moves through deeper exploration towards dialogue and collaboration.

When you register you give us two preferred tracks. Based on these we put together carefully composed groups, with a good mix of backgrounds and perspectives.
Places per track are limited, so there's room for genuine exchange.
