Online Information Meeting CIIIC Kern

On February 2, 2026, CIIIC and Regieorgaan SIA are organizing an online information session about the upcoming call CIIIC Kern: Demand-Driven Applied Research into Immersive Experiences (IX).

This call focuses on research projects in which methods for applying and deploying immersive experiences are tested and validated. Consider research on how public values can be safeguarded within IX applications, how staff shortages can be addressed with IX, or what prerequisites are needed for responsible deployment of IX within public organizations.

By bringing together consortia of research organizations, SMEs, and public organizations, CIIIC Core stimulates innovation through co-creation and lays a solid foundation for strategic investments in immersive technologies. The goal is to strengthen the IX field, enable scaling, and increase social and economic impact.

During the information session, we, together with Regieorgaan SIA, will further explain the call CIIIC Kern and there will be an opportunity to ask questions about the funding scheme. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas live. The call is currently officially in preparation; further substantive information will follow.
